HOW TO SEND DOCUMENTS ON ANY ANDROID DEVICE VIA WHATSAPP

How do I send and save documents via WhatsApp?

WhatsApp allows you to send documents to your contacts, just as you would send media (audios, videos, photos), contacts or a location.

The maximum allowed file size is 100 MB. In order to send a document directly from WhatsApp, use the clip icon in a chat. The document must be saved locally on your phone. Alternatively, WhatsApp will appear as an option in the share menu of apps that handle documents like Dropbox and Google Drive.

When a document is downloaded, it will automatically save in yourWhatsApp Documents folder, which can be accessed using a file explorer. The download path is storage/whatsapp/media/whatsappdocuments.

To send a document from within Whatsapp

1. Open a chat,
2. Tap the clip icon at the top of the screen,
3. Choose Document,
4. Select the desired document to send and tap Send in the popup.

After following the above steps, the document will start loading to send just as it will load for a media file etc. If your network is steable it shouldnt take long to send...
After the file sends it's then up to the receipient to download the file.
