HOW TO SEND DOCUMENTS ON A WINDOWS PHONE VIA WHATSAPP

How do I send and save documents via WhatsApp?

WhatsApp allows you to send documents to your contacts, just as you would send media, contacts or a location.

NOTE: only possible to send documents if you are on Windows Phone 8.1 or older.  The maximum allowed file size is 100 MB.

To send a document

1. Open the chat that you would like to send the document to.
2. Tap the paperclip icon.
3. Choose Document .
4. Choose a document from the available locations, such as your phone, SD card or OneDrive.
5. Tap yes to confirm after selecting the document.

To save a document

Documents are saved in your phone automatically once they are received and downloaded via WhatsApp. They are located in the Pictures folder of your phone or SD card, depending on your phone's storage sense (settings > system >
storage sense ).

In order to access the documents, you need a file manager app . Navigate to your SD card or Phone > Pictures > WhatsApp .

Note: You need a PDF reader app installed on your phone to be able to view the documents you send or receive.
