The production is like floating on clouds, with subtle synth work and a beautiful lead melody – it’s actually soothing to listen to this track. With so many beats these days using the minor scale, it’s refreshing to hear a beat that’s straight up major.
Posty’s debut album Stoney ended up being a slow burner, just like his singles. ‘Congratulations’ with Quavo is still building while the album has just been certified Platinum by the RIAA. With this new offering ‘Candy Paint’, it’s clear that he is here to say.
