ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC 'PREPARED TO LEAVE" MANCHESTER UNITED THIS SUMMER ON ONE CONDITION

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave Manchester United this summer unless the club secures UEFA Champions League football, according to a report.
Ibrahimovic, 35, has been a phenomenal success in his first season in English football with 28 goals in all competitions.
But he only has a one-year contract with United, with the option of an extra year. The Daily Mirror claims the former Sweden international will choose not to take up that option if United misses out on qualifying for Europe’s elite club competition next season.
Jose Mourinho’s club is four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, which occupies the final Champions League qualifying spot, with a game in hand.
United’s better chance may come in the Europa League. Winning that competition carries the prize of a place in the 2017-18 Champions League. United plays Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-final first leg at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Mirror claims Ibrahimovic’s friends believe he will end his United career unless he can see “clear evidence” of United building a Premier League title-winning side for next season.
That could include the signing of Antoine Griezmann, as Mourinho seeks to add goals to a side that has scored 14 fewer than any team in the top four this season.
